With a knack for problem-solving and a passion for planning, Narissa thrives in the fast-paced profession of marketing and events, where no two days are ever the same.

“I love that every day is different,” she says.  

“I just really love the problem-solving aspect of it and making sure everybody’s happy and enjoying themselves while they’re here.”

“What makes this venue special is that it’s locally owned and operated,” Narissa added.  

“We incorporate local artists for live music, but we also bring in performers from Airlie Beach, and it works well because we have accommodation available for them too.”

One of Narissa’s favourite events to coordinate is the women-in-business gatherings.  

“I love planning women-in-business events because tourism and hospitality are still quite male-dominated.  

“Seeing support from others in the industry is really inspiring to me.”

When she’s not orchestrating events, you’ll likely find Narissa enjoying a cheeky cocktail with friends. And if you’re looking for a drink recommendation, she insists you try Ocean International’s lychee martini or an elderflower spritz…(what a great way to unwind by the poolside!)
